From approximately 2009-2018 our family organized and sponsored a charity golf tournament to raise funds for various community organizations. It is one of the ways we have been able to give back to our community. We raised over $50,000 for the Westminster Fire Department, McDaniel College, Carroll Community College, the VFW, Human Services Programs of Carroll County and Carroll Hospital Center's Wellness Boutique . Each year we chose an organization that provides valuable services to our community. Our ninth and final annual charity golf tournament raised money for the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster. In almost every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship during the critical after-school hours. To help meet the needs of these youth and their families, the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster provides healthy, supervised after-school programs and activities. The Club accomplishes this mission by providing a safe place to learn and grow, and develop ongoing relationships with caring adult professionals. Their programs function as life-enhancing experiences that lead to hope, opportunity, and, most importantly, fun!  We are proud for the impact this tournament had on those around us.
